Wanda Lephoto

Wanda Lephoto is the founder and creative director of the Johannesburg-based brand Wanda Lephoto, and a freelance creative director and consultant for agencies and commercial brands. His brand WANDA LEPHOTO® explores a distinctive notion of luxury norms looking to merge global nuances with distinctively African taxonomies, memories, languages and approaches. The Spring Summer 2022 collection titled, “Home Affairs” showcased as a digital presentation at Lagos fashion week in 2021. The collection referenced South African working-class realities with silhouettes reminiscent of utility wear and historical South African cultural archetypes.
