Xenia de Lange


Xenia de Lange is an artist living and working in Nelspruit, South Africa. Mainly working in ink, pen, and oil paint – she is deeply intrigued by the human condition; people, portraits, and all things related to them as well as psychology. She seeks to create emotional connections through her art, connecting viewers with a figure, an idea, or an emotion. She graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2016 with a BA (Fine Arts) and has since sought to find meaning in her life and in her art. In 2021 she placed within the Top 250 of the Rust & Vrede Portrait Award competition
